Our Approach is informed by a combination of personal experience with chronic pain, personal practice, *education and research, in Western and Eastern methodologies as to the diverse causes and management strategies for chronic pain. Mainly, however, our approach hinges on the belief that, you only know fully, the experience of your pain; The word “pain” does not really encompass the reality of your experience.
Our role is therefore to humbly respect your unique experience, hear you, and authentically work alongside side you, supporting your experience. This is essentially the miracle of “neuroplasticity” as you learn methods to re-conceptualise your chronic pain. This is not overlooking the reality of your physiological experience; however it is acknowledging, that without the brain and nervous system as a whole, you could not experience sensation.
Essentially, our approach works by initiating and establishing a longer term nervous system shift; which is also initiated by the support of shorter term, practical “quicker fixes”, where you are likely to feel immediate relief.
